Easter 2014

For some reason, March and April seem to be when sickness hits our family. We stay pretty healthy through the year but once our allergies hit we get hit with sickness as well. This year it was the stomach bug. We all came down with it at Church Sunday morning and it just got worse from there. Sunday night being the worst for all of us. We thought it was food poisoning since we all got it at the same time but apparently not after Chris family came down with it too after seeing them on Easter. :( Noah was also just getting over croup when we were at his granny's church for an Easter egg hunt so he did not feel well then either.
This was a bummer since it was the first year Noah would love to find Easter eggs but he tried to make the most of it Sunday at lunch. We did an Easter egg hunt indoors on Friday with his best friends Hollis and Ella and we will again tomorrow when my mom comes to visit.
Noah loved seeing his Easter basket Sunday morning and opening it. Favorite thing was the $1 chick that you wind up haha
Noah and Ella are playing a lot more together now that they are older. They are so funny to watch because I think they like each other with the looks they give each other plus we caught them giving a kiss behind Hollis.(Hollis was not happy about it)
As always Easter is a great time to bond and enjoy family and friends but the most important thing is the celebration in Jesus Christ. So thankful to have a savior who endured so much pain in the name of love and that he rose and gave everlasting life. Without it, I could not imagine the joys in this life with the ones I love to continue after we are gone. The ultimate blessing.
