Yellow River Game Ranch

March. 22
Noah's first trip to Yellow River Game Ranch.

He LOVED it! Noah is a huge fan of animals. He is always requesting you sing EIEIO and can make any animal noise under the fun. So doing things like this are top of the list for him. I must admit that is was much different then I remember it being when I was a little girl. But that was also more than 20 years ago and I guess everything seems so much bigger and better when you are little. It was a nice day and we took advantage of the weather. Fun family memories.

Snow Days/Noah's First Ski Trip

Winter 2014
What a lucky winter! So thankful Noah had plenty of days to enjoy playing in the snow. He was not too sure at first but got into it. (It makes it much more enjoyable when you have good gloves and shoes). The first snow days he did not so it was not as fun. I hope we have many years like this while my kids grow up.
Plus- boy does it wear kids out! :)
He LOVED playing with Bailey in the snow, sledding with daddy, pushing car in it and being pulled in his sled.  He loved just watching the snow fall down too.

I found out on the first snow day what we were having. I wrote it in the snow for Chris when he got home.
Helped Chris beat the pileup on the interstate.

It's not a snow day with snowball fights. Chris is pretty good :(
Snow days wear doggies out too!

Walked to Waffle House with our sweet neighbors.

Barns and Noble was open for Noah and I to get away so daddy could try and work a little from home:
Noah now wants Starbucks drink every time we go.

What "working from home" looks like

Ski Trip 2014
Noah's first attempt on skis. He was scared at first but after awhile he really liked it. He just needed to know mommy and daddy were there the whole time. Snowboarding/skiing are really special to Chris and I. We have gone every year, sometimes multiple times a year together since we have been dating and want to bring up our children loving snow sports as well.
There was so much snow! 15 inches of snow!!
He loved sledding with daddy and just spending time with all of his family.
Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to the passing of Chris's grandmother Annette. We arrived Friday night and Saturday morning we received the news. We were snowed in on Saturday. It gave us a chance as a family to enjoy the beautiful day together and try to heal. We packed up and left for Alabama on Sunday. So thankful for these memories and I know she was smiling down on all of us this beautiful day.

Winter Wonderland

It's scary going fast for the first time.

Emma and Jackson are so loving to Noah and he loves that they love him!

Our other baby boy was there too ;)
