Cape San Blas

Cape San Blas was nice and relaxing! It is such a beautiful beach with nobody on it!! While there is not that much to do (restaurants and shopping)..it is the perfect place to be if you want to get away, stay in a nice house right on the beach and just relax! We had such a great time with my family-mom, grammy, sister, brother-in-law/spiritual advisor, niece and her friend, Jackson and of course-Bailey!!
Here are a few pictures of the house and beach out back.

She had so much fun in the sun!!

Playing at the beach all day can make both baby and daddy tired!

It rained a lot in the mornings but Jackson and Uncle Chris enjoyed it! :)

Dinner at The Raw Bar- So cool and sooo good!!

My grammy- 86 years old and still beautiful!

Fun at the local park. It was so beautiful! This park takes you to the tip of Cape San Blas.

Long walk through the dunes to get to this private beach with not another soul on it!

My two loves!

What a perfect beach to be on to just walk and talk with God!

There were many of these crabs as you walk through the dunes to get to the private beach.

The deer were everywhere!

Bailey liked watching them too!

OK! It's official! We really need kids- I have waaayyyy to many pictures of Bailey!

4th of July, 2011

On Saturday we took a ride to the McIvers. Chris had not seen Ryan in almost 4 months and I had not seen my Melissa in 1 WHOLE MONTH! :)
There neighborhood puts on a fireworks show every year complete with music, games and food. We got there early and danced away with Bella and Farrah until it got dark. I was not expecting such a grand fireworks show because of it being in a neighborhood but I was blown away! Thank you McIvers..We had sooooo much fun!!

On Sunday...The McIvers and us went to the lake. I only have one picture of Melissa's step dad catching a HUGE catfish! Will upload later. We were out on the boat for a bit but for the most part it rained all day. Which was great and relaxing actually. We all sat out on the boat dock in reclining chairs under a tin roof. Since it has been so hot lately...the rain actually made it very nice. Afterwards, Melissa's mom made us a yummy dinner and we headed home.
Thanks again to the McIvers for a great weekend!

On Monday, we headed into Peachtree City which is only a few minutes down the road and where I teach. Peachtree City has actually been voted by USA Today as one of the 6 "Most Patriotic Cities" in America. Voting is taking place to pick the winner. :)
We watched the fireworks with our great friends The Lambings and their baby boy Connor. Connor is 15 months and the best baby ever. Courtney is due in 3 weeks with their second. Please pray for a safe delivery!

**Last but NOT least...THANK YOU to all the men and women serving our country and for allowing us to enjoy such a beautiful weekend with friends and family!!!
